Dustin block leave!

So today is Dustin's last day of work until sept 8th! This is called block leave! pretty much our last time with no work until he deploys.. looking like sometime after Oct 2... I am so glad that we get to have some family time.. If you dont know already, I'm so not mentally prepared for this deployment.. I know that we will survie with God's word and God's hands, for with out him I would be so lost and afraid. I know that God has his hand on me and my family and my husband. I will update you all on an offical date of deployment!

At night when I crawl into bed,
My lonely pillow 'neath my head,
I close my eyes and say a prayer."
God keep him safe way over there,
And make me strong so I won't cry.

It's kinda hard to be alone and teach the kids when they're half grown,
without the strength of a father's handto guide them in this troubled land.
So I'll need a little help from you,to let me know what I should do.
And God please will you let him know,
How much we love and miss him so.

And then I feel across the bed,
To where he used to lay his head,
and I close my eyes so very tight,
so I won't cry again tonight,and whisper to the evening air,"Good night my darling way over there."

my first blog!

Okay , so here is my first blog! I totally have no idea what the heck Im doing, so bear with me through this process! Well.. for starters I have 3 beautiful kids! Jamie is 7, Nathen is 4 and Aren is 1. Nathen just started his first year of school as a preschooler! He is currently the first Star Student! Mama is so proud! I have been married for almost 9 years to a wonderful husband and my best friend Dustin! Sadly he is getting ready to deploy to Iraq! This we are not ready for.. but like all deployments we will get through it! I am just not sure that I am ready for the good bye with the kids! Jamie has a hard time talking about it now with out breaking down! But we are going to make the best of it and get them in to some activities anad what not. I dont know what we will do or where this next year is going to take us, but it is going to be a fun adventure for us all! The kids and I are going to do so many fun things thanks to susan on my migellan! we can go anywhere and not get lost! I will post more when I fugure this thingn out!
